For the LOVE of MUSIC, one will make the ultimate JOURNEY. .. LMJ burst on the scene in 1997 with the King Jammys remake of En Vogues Dont Let Go. The signature style of harmonies that hit the airwaves compelled their audiences to stand up and take notice. Its a sound that is unparalleled to this day. .. The group has been featured on quite a few shows including 2004 Fireworks on the Water Front, Macka Diamonds Mothers and Daughters, Western Consciousness, St. Mary Mi Come from, Sumfest and Vizion Sounds/First Born 10th anniversary celebrations in Guyana. They have also opened for reggae acts such as Black Uhuru, Chuck Fenda, Richie Spice, Junior Kelly, Morgan Heritage among others. Their most distinguished performances however, were singing for Winnie Mandela on her visit to Jamaica in 1999 and Bob Marley Day in Canada in 2001 .. Apart from taking centre stage they have lent their vocal talents on backing tracks for various artists including Culture, Black Uhuru, Dennis Brown, Luciano and projects for Byron Lee. Byron Lee was so impressed by the groups performance at the 2003 Chicken Festival, that he has featured their vocal talents on five of his album projects to date. They have also been the voices behind numerous artists on stage. Nina, Brady and June, come together to make the dynamic trio, LMJ. .. NINA Karlene Nina Karle Levy, born Aug 19, is the newest member. Was the lead singer for the Japanese rock/blues band Blue Mountain (Aoyama) Her Singles Lonely with the dancehall duo CP Inc and Byron Lees re-make of From a Distance is currently enjoying regular rotation on the radio. She tours with many artists including Sly & Robbie and Sinead OConnor. .. BRADY Ellenore Brady Walters born June 1st is from a musical family She has been performing both locally and internationally with the group and as a single act. She currently tours with Bushman and Max Romeo and has to her credit, a single playing on the airwaves Lonely Girl a combination with Bascom X. .. JUNE Mabel June Cole was born on May 31st . She has a sultry tone which really compliments any song that she lends her vocals to. She is known as the bassist of the group. This gives depth to their harmonies, creating a well rounded sound which LMJ is presently known for. Performing at home and abroad, she has toured with well known artists like Black Uhuru, Jimmy Riley, Junior Kelly, Richie Spice and others .. Their new releases “Not Divided” (Trendsetter) is currently enjoying regular rotation on radio while “Find A Better Way” (Ababa Janoy) has climbed the reggae charts in Germany and was named top pick of the week. “Don’t Let Go” with dancehall DJ Galaxy P have become local favorites on cable stations. Their first album “Inna Mi Roots” (Vizion Sound) was released in 2007 to good reviews and the group is looking forward to exposing their music to the world. June, Brady and Nina possess qualities that could propel them to stardom individually but are proud to be apart of the trinity …LMJ There is no journey too long or too great if one has genuine love and music ..
